Quadpod

This legendary pod first devised by Steve in early 1980’s has only been available in very limited quantities. Century and Steve have now opened up this pod to a slightly wider audience of anglers who appreciate the very best.

What Steve achieved in the Quad was a very stable platform that will easily handle rods up to 13’ long. For platform fishing, hard banks or gravel where sticks are not appropriate – this pod has no equal. It excels supremely in snag fishing especially when the Snag Ears are coupled with the alarms.

The pod has a very low centre of gravity and is very stable.

The Quad has an operating length between 25” and 48” via the extendable arms in the base. This benefits the angler who might want to use rods up to 13’ long. The front bar is 16 ¾” wide and the back bar is 14 ½ wide and has 3 alarm positions in standard format. The central boss is stainless steel and secures the arms in place by a special nylon a friction disc.

Supplied with 4 - 8” bank sticks and the whole show locks up with Steve’s hallmark tommy bars. Supplied with a custom roll pod wrap.

A carbon fibre version of this pod will be available in late June 2008. The carbon version will include carbon/stainless bank sticks, carbon/stainless buzz bars and carbon quad frame.
